This example illustrates the ease at which the user can generate a small conveyor layout.  The first AutoCAD screen shows the polyline which the user entered.   The second screen shows the final product.  It takes the system approximately 5 seconds to draw the screen.

 The steps are as follows:

  1. The user enters the command PL to draw a polyline.
  2. The user clicks a point at each intersection.  In this case there are four points.
  3. The user clicks on the appropriate tool button.  A dialog box is displayed.
  4. The user makes any changes as needed and clicks OK.
  5. Done.

Note: The Whip add-in from AutoDesk is required to view the AutoCAD drawings below.  If you can see these drawings, then place the mouse pointer in the screen and right click to get a menu of available commands.

The conveyor is generated using standard modules.
Each section is exactly the correct length.
Shims are added as needed.
Each section is labeled with a unique section ID.
There are 32 conveyor sections plus shims.   It took 5 seconds to create.
The process can be repeated over and over to build larger and more complicated layouts.
